Hi,
We are currently on IS4.1 and planning to move the Info Steward repository from Oracle to DB2. What is the best practice of performing this activity.
ISRepositoryutility is the tool mentioned in the admin guide to change the configuration of the repository. But not sure, how it can be used to migrate an existing repository from one DB to another.
Thanks,
Sandeep
Hello,
Would you able to perform such kind of migration?, I have similiar scenario, but from MSSQL to Sybase ASE.
Thanks!

Hi,
You need to use you own dba tools to migrate form one db to another, then use ISRepositoryutility.
Otherwise I think (not 100% sure) you should also be able to use import/export to export IS content from existing repository, to a newly created schema (using the IS utility) of the new repo. (see admin guide:Import and export projects and objects).
thanks
Nawfal
