Unable to insert notes in accounts in WebUI

Hi Expert,

    I am able to insert any notes in any accounts (individual, coporate or group account). I am able to see my customizing for text types but i am able to insert any notes under these text types. Please advise how can i overcome this problem.

Hi Ajmal,

Did you try to do it in SAP GUI via transaction BP? Also did you check if any authorisation is missing via SU53?

Hi Luis,

    I have already tried inserting notes through t.code- bp. It does not let me insert any notes and the whole area is greyed out. Also, What specifically should i be looking for under t-code:su53? Please advise. Sorry i am familiar with t.code=su53.

First go to BP, then go to the insert notes tab you will see everything is greyed open a new SAP GUI mode and launch the SU53 if there's any authorization issue will be loged on SU53 directly you don't need to perform any extra step. If you don't have any configuration problem I'm runing out of ideas I only can think about some custom developmen BADI, enhancement etc. or some step missing in the config.

You can also try the same on the CRMD_ORDER open any document any document and navigate to the notes tab and see if there you can edit text.

Hi Ajmal,

How these BPs are created?. Are they coming from ECC?. If yes, you have to do changes in ECC XD01->Texts. Please let me know how they are created.

     Thank you for the link. However, it still does not solve my issue. I am unable to insert any notes in overview screen and in assignment block "notes" in CRM Web Interface. Please advise with your expertise.
