exclude the MRP and stock

Hi,

I have one business requirement.Here two tyeps materials are there one is
EMP (Enterprise product) and second one is Government products.There are two
plants are there one is A and second one is B.

Us05 is manfacturing plant and us06 is supplying plant.

The main input is sales scheduling agreement for us06(supplying plant)
.This sales scheduling agreement was created through idocs and mrp will run
automatically in us06 through batch jobs.

These requirements will be created in us05 also through DRP.So us05 plant created production order and GR and transfer to us05.

The requirement is while run the MRP for us06 not consider the EMB finished
inventory .

and one more thing suppose stock alerady existed in sap for the EMB products, when we run the
mrp by the system create new demand not consider the existing stock.

Please tell me the procedure how can i follow

Hi Manoj,

Yes you can do it though exclude the storage location from MRP for your plant US06  Please check OMIR or MMSC 1-Storage location stock excluded from MRP.

Or you can use a BAdi  MD_CHANGE_MRP_DATA , with method => CHANGE_MDPSX_MARD.

Hi Manoj,

I understand that you dont want to consider the inventory for some materials in Planning run for particular plant. You can use strategy 11 for your purpose for those materials in Material Master.

thanks for your reply.

here the business using 40 strategy.But the for one plant the input is sales scheduling agreement.

based on sales scheduling agreement mrp will run automatically for this plant(batch jobs).

by that time system will not consider the inventory stock for that materails.

Example:

Stock :50

Sales scheduling agreement is : 70

System will create the planned order for 70 not for 50.

So how can i map this process.

Hi Manoj,

If you want to follow 40 strategy only, then transfer the material stock to a different storage location which is excluded from MRP. But what is the use of stock if only new proposal is to be created for scheduling agreement quantity? Explain the process in detail.

Have you checked the existing inventory in MRP wizard of Data source ?

Check that and run, if you have not checked it.
