how to use 'fields to be changed', 'fields for conditions'?

Hi all,

I have two questions regarding BPS. If you know, please share ur knowledge. Thank you.

1) How to decide which CHARs or KFs should be 'fields to be changed', 'fields for conditions'? EX: if you want to execute distribution to the product lines AD11 & AD12, according to keys for the fiscal years 2002-2006 and for all key figures.

2)what is 'general entry-key figure name'? When will u use it? please give a example.

    Hi John,

Genreally the characteristics in lead column of your layout for which you want to change the values are 'field to be changed'.

Now in your case it is 'product lines'.

You want to distribute for fiscal year 2002-2006,therefore fiscal year has to be mentioned in 'fields for condition'.

    Hope it helps you.

    regards,

    Yogesh
