SAP ERP database to AWS HANA database

Hello SCN folks,

I have a HANA instance running on AWS EC2 services. The situation is that, we need the current existing SAP ERP data to be replicated onto AWS HANA instance. What is the best solution that one could use for this?

I know a solution "SLT replication server". Does this work on cloud HANA instance like AWS as well? If yes, then I could use this solution.

Are there any possible alternative solutions to perform this?

Thanks
😊😊

    Hello,

there are several possible options for data replication to HANA, e.g. LT Replication Server, Data Services, Direct Extractor Connection. Each has its own pros and cons as well as different license aspect.

Here you can find some informations regarding the different options: http://www.saphana.com/docs/DOC-3447

    Best regards,

    Karsten

    Hi,

My comments may not be relevant to your question as I am not sure if your intention is to learn or use AWS HANA (if instance is HANA one) instance for production.

Some companies can not put their data on cloud. Or you can use AWS HANA developer edition for production.

Anyway, we use SLT for real time data replication to local HANA system. More info can be found here
