We are having a problem with a particular local process chain, so we made it parallel to others. But still only somedays it fails and we are not able to find a reason why? so we are doing manual loads for that particular package when it fails by breaking it into smaller packages. Then it gives us some days of peace. The pattern i observed is if the package size is more than 5000 records, it is failing.
This is for loading data into ZPP_C03 from 0PP_C03 as we have some custom fields in ZPP_C03 which have some routines - this also could be an issue??
Also when i do the Check View it gave me errors, but the chains fails long way after this step, in one of the loading steps-can this be a issue.
These are the errors when i do a check view "No type "Attribute Change Run" process allowed infront of process "Execute InfoPackage" variable ZPAK_3U4KFQGW7WTRWFM7PF5SSTBOJ in the chain" and this error "No type "Read PSA and Update Data Target" process allowed infront of process "Execute InfoPackage" variable ZPAK_3UDA7IRCPXGZ85P9302CE9NC3 in the chain"
When you refer to 5000 records, can it be that you actually mean 50000 records? 50000 is a typical quantity in BW because this is where requests are broken into several smaller packages.
In the PC log view you should be able to locate the message that you get when a process fails. Maybe you can publish these messages here so we can help you further.

Pradeep, it looks like you are running an "Attribute Change Run" for a master data <i>before</i> running the infopackage that loads the master data in your Process Chain. Also, it looks like your running the "Read PSA and Update Data Target" <i>before</i> running the infopackage to load your transaction data in the chain.
Is this correct? If it is, then run the infopackages first before running the "Attribute Change Run" or "Read PSA and Update Data Target".
