BW BPS Derive Function: Derive 0FISCPER & 0FISCYEAR from 0CALDAY

1. Is there a BPS Derive Function to derive 0FISCPER & 0FISCYEAR from 0CALDAY?

Similar to UPX_DATES_DERIVE, but this only converts calendar to calendar dates & fiscal to fiscal dates, example:

- 0FISCPER + 0FISCPER3 -> 0FISCPER

- 0FISCPER -> 0FISCYEAR

- 0FISCPER -> 0FISCPER3

I need:

- 0CALDAY + 0FISCVARNT -> 0FISCPER & 0FISCYEAR & 0FISCPER3

Function must have the following parameters:

- I_AREA

- ITO_CHA

- ITO_SOURCE

- ITO_TARGET

- XS_CHAS

- FAILED

- Combination Check

Hello Jay,

1) SAP can not provide this function, since it's not clear what should happen if the date is not maintained in the fiscal calendar. Should the derivation fail or should it just leave fiscal period and year empty?

2) Try the following: SE16 on table FUPARAREF with PARAMETER = +S_CHAS. The list is not perfect, but it's a starting point.
