Refresh or modify problem!

Hi all,

I have the following problem. I'm runnig an application that has some webdynpro. Between 2 of them i have to calulate a difference between two amounts. In the last webdynpro..I have a button that allows the user top come bakc to the previus webdynpro so it can change the amounts to calulate, but when it clicks the next button so it can go to the next wendynpro, the application doesn't calute the new difference.

Is there a way to do this?..I think it maybem something like refreshing the screen, I'm not sure.

Thanks in advance!

Jesus.

      Hi Naidu,

As i said in the before post. In a webdynpro I have to apply some arithmetic operations between two amounts and then show the result of this operation in another webdynpro. So the problem is when I pressed the button to go back to previous webdynpro to change this values and later try to go to the next webdynpro to see the result of the new operation, the application keeps the old values. It looks like it doesn't refresh the screen.

Hope this time you get it!

      Thanks!

    Hi Jesus,

if I got your problem, it is similar to this: In View1 you can insert 2 values. View 2 displays the difference.

Then you need to bind at least the 2 values to a Context Attribute. At least for testing, I would recommend you to create a Context Attribute for the difference as well. Create the Context in the Component Controller and map it to View1 and View2.

Then you have 2 options where to perform the calculation. Either in the event handler (the same that fires the Outbound-Plug) of View1 or in the onPlugFromView1 method.

    hi Jesus,

just set the values of those two to blank in the

wdinit()methos of view1 or inbound plug method of view1.

set reseult to blank at wdinit() of component controller

then you will get new values.

    regards

    Naidu

      Hi all,

To solve my problem I had to set the values to blank and then, to calculate the difference again, I had to make it into the onmodifyView method.

      Thanks all for your help.

      Regards,

      Jesus
