customer hierarchy

Hi,

I have a problem extracting my customer hierarchy.

My R/3 source system is using the customer hierarchy defined in VDH2N and the hierarchy type is A=Standard hierarchy.

The datasource I want to use is 0CUST_SALES_LKDH_HIER. When I check the datasource in RSA3 it return a lot of entries, so datasource seems to be OK.

However I’m unable to assign this data source to my BW infosource 0CUSTOMER under SAP R/3 Application Components -> Logistics – General -> Logistics in General Master Data.

The inforsource 0CUSTOMER only allows me to select datasource 0CUSTOMER_LKLS_HIER but this datasource is empty. Is there another infosource in BW I should use?

Has anybody had a similar issue?

Kind regards, Torben

    Hi Torben,

Have you replicated this DS into BW?

There should be an infosource for 0CUST_SLS (Customer Sales View) in your BW system. Use this one to extract your customer hierarchy from R/3 to BW.

    Hope this helps.
