If you put new packages in the download directory, use option 'init' to upload them

I'm having this same issue. As information, SP8 of SUM throws the same error.

Any updates on the problem from your side?

Dear,

You need to find out the missing CRTs which is really tough task.

So, It is best if you first upgrade the SPS and then upgrade the EHP.

SAP Active Gloval Support got me running, here is what they had me do. It appears that MOPZ downloaded too many things (notable old SAINT/CRT packages). Removing them from the download directory and out of the EPS inbox got me past the point of failure.

First:

remove these packages from the EPS-Inbox using transaction SEPS

transaction(Goto -> Inbox):

SAPK-700Z1INCPMBPC

SAPK-750Z1INCPMBPC

SAPK-750Z2INCPMBPC

Second:

remove CPMBPC750.SAP from the download directory.

Lastly:

repeat the phase from the beginning

Hello

There will be few log files in the <upgrade_directory>/abap/log starting with the name SPDA_*

You may upload all these or check all these log files.

I strongly believe the stack file is not created properly for the upgrade.

Have you maintained the product system in the Solution Manager LMDB ?

I can see in the log file that you are adding certain Add-on's that are not present in the system like SRM_SERVER. I am not sure why you have these in the logs. You should review the stack file and check these.

Lastly, preparation is one of the inevitable task for an upgrade activity. You should read the upgrade guide and make sure the system is ready to start the upgrade.

Hello

I suggest you to recreate the stack file and download the files from the download basket with the help of SAP Download Manager.

For me it looks like the SUM tool is complaining that the files present in the stack file are missing in the downloads directory.

From the list looks like there are no Third Party Add-on's listed,

did you select to KEEP for any Add-On's during IS_SELECT Phase?

Usually SAP specific CRT's are downloaded using MOPZ,

I would check my download basket again to make sure everything is downloaded.

Hi,

Can you please tell me the SPAM/SAINT version in your system currently as there was issue in 700 in SPAM .

Please check if you are not effected.

1387523 - Wrong completeness check during queue calculation in EHPI

1285377 - Incomplete error message in phase EHP_INCLUSION of EHPI

Hope you would have delete the files from the EPS/in directory and SUM tool also . Uncared and start it again. Do you see any other log file update in the sum tool dir.

Thanks

The SPAM 7.00/51 is the part of stack and now SPAM is updated with this level.

yes. I deleted the files from EPS/in. I did copy all *.SAR(not whole folder because folder have some txt files) from EHP6 folder and past EPS/in and SUM automatically extracted all *.SAR files during Extraction phase while I did not uncar the files manually

Hi,

I can think of two ways as there is no error message generated.. Can you please tell the source and the target SP level. You can try using SP08 and see the note also.

1528990 - SP Equivalence for update/upgrade to SAP NW 7.30

First we run the tool in the debug mode and see if extra logs are being written.

Below is the process to run the tool in debug mode.

- Exit SUM GUI and SL controller

- Set com.sap.sdt.severity to DEBUG in the following files:

SUM\sdt\param\logging.properties

SUM\sdt\prop\logging.properties

SUM\java\param\logging.properties

,,

- Restart the SL Controller and SUM GUI and repeat the failing step

to generate the new trace file with more details

- Attach the following log files from the following folder:

SUM\java\log

SUM\java\trc

SUM\sdt\log

SUM\sdt\trc

But this we only do it when sap suggest you yo do it.

Second thing try to check the LMDB/SMSY , Push the data again to the SLD and try to generate the stack file again.

Can you also check EHP_INCLUSION.ELG

Thanks

Dear Rishi,

thanks for your support,

Please check my last thread which is the part of this upgradation.

http://scn.sap.com/thread/3458256

I have changed the value as per your last reply.

SUM\sdt\param\logging.properties

#### Set up tracing severity

#com.sap.sdt.severity = WARNING

com.sap.sdt.severity = DEBUG

SUM\sdt\prop\logging.properties

#### Set up tracing severity

#com.sap.sdt.severity = ERROR

com.sap.sdt.severity = DEBUG

SUM\java\param\logging.properties

It is only ABAP instance (but I did it)

Please find attached trc and log( SourceSystem_SP is included in log folder).

Note>>> Please remove .txt from attached files.

Second thing try to check the LMDB/SMSY , Push the data again to the SLD and try to generate the stack file again.

you mean i need to regenerate and download a new stack(its lenghty task due to low internet speed). I only getting CRTs are required while if there is missing any files then i got message like not found a SPs.

FYI.... i m using SUM9.

Hi,

No i mean that try to generate the same stack using solution manager and use that stack file. Not saying to download files again. I will try to see if i can find some thing in the logs.

Thanks

Hi,

I just check the trace but dint find any thing any unusual. Only thing that in the target it is showing SHOP FLOOR DISPATCHER 1.0 also.

From the above support pack that SUM tools has detected are just basic ERP component and but cant see that SRM_SERVER is part of it. But in the add-on i can see all the component. I think it would be good if you select the component properly that you want on EHP 6 and if they it is possible.

Please sync lmdb/smsy with the SLD and try to generate the stack file again....

Hello Jamil,

The issue seems to be related to the error  " Add on installation/upgrade not yet complete. CRTs are required" .

Refer to the SAP Note  1037374 - CRTs for CPRXRPM 400 for the resolution.

Check this thread too: https://scn.sap.com/thread/1179905

Mudasir.

hi Mudasir,

thanks for your reply,

but there is just showing that the CRTs are required but which CRTs because there is not mention the specific name.

FYI...CPRXRPM is not part of stack which i downloaded

It appears to me that the ST-PI files are missing.

Can you check whether the ST-PI files are present ?

Hi,

I don't see any line in the logs that it says that about the conflict.

Only below lines.

2WETQ399 File 'G:/usr/sap/trans/EPS/in\51039102_13.ZIP' size 21598kB could not be recognized!

2WETQ399 File 'G:/usr/sap/trans/EPS/in\CID0020068250_0028879.PAT' size 21kB could not be recognized!

2WETQ399 File 'G:/usr/sap/trans/EPS/in\CID0020068250_0028881.PAT' size 19kB could not be recognized!

2WETQ399 File 'G:/usr/sap/trans/EPS/in\CID0020068250_0028882.PAT' size 19kB could not be recognized!

2WETQ399 File 'G:/usr/sap/trans/EPS/in\CID0020068250_0028884.PAT' size 19kB could not be recognized!

2WETQ399 File 'G:/usr/sap/trans/EPS/in\CID0020068250_0028885.PAT' size 19kB could not be recognized!

2WETQ399 File 'G:/usr/sap/trans/EPS/in\CID0020068250_0028890.PAT' size 26kB could not be recognized!

2WETQ399 File 'G:/usr/sap/trans/EPS/in\CID0020068250_0028891.PAT' size 28kB could not be recognized!

So would suggest just reset the tool delete all the files from the ERP/In and restart the tools.

Because if there is any miss match it should say like this.

Installation Package for add-on <(>&<)>1 rel.<(>&<)>2 does not exist

Thanks

hi Rishi,

Right now, I am using SUM10SP09_0-20006676.SAR. Is it Ok or I have to try with SUM8.

I already downloaded the stack now which CRTs are required

anyways.. I did reset the sum and doing again.
