    Hi Priya

You do not need to be trained on XI by SAP to take up the certification. Hands-on experience will be a definite definite plus, but if you really do a lot of groundwork by reading documents available at help.sap.com and sdn.sap.com then you can clear the certification. Also remember there is a minimum percentage (i guess 50%) for each section that you need to make, apart from an overall percentage of 65 to clear the certification. So pay attention while preparing to all the areas of XI.

Yes you are eligible to take the exam by paying the fee.

    cheers

    Sameer

PS: But my advice would be try to get some hands-on experience as well, so that you can understand & appreciate the concepts you might have learnt easily.

    Hello Priya,

you should for minimum visit the TBIT40 as it tells you most of the theoretical issues.

Possibly it is not really necessary to visit TBIT41-TBIT44 which look more practice orientied.

But experience with XI is really really helpful!

Here you will learn how XI is working (try to build scenarios including mapping issues and some BPM) as 5 days of listenting to a speaker and doing some well prepared exercises (TBIT40) is not really suitable except you don´t have a brain but a hard disk inside your head!

My information is that you can join the exam for a small fee.

The information offered at this forum and the help.sap.com page are helpful too but from my point of view this will overload you a little bit as you will find everything here to be an expert, but no hint what is necessary to pass the exam! So focus on training TBIT will ease the way to get the information you need!

    Best regards

    Dirk

    hi priya..

u can give the exam as and when u want...ther is no need for any experience as such...

infact having not much of experience on ABAP doesnt really matter..!!!

just go thru' with the books TBIT 40,41,42,43 and that shud be it....

read TBIT 40 more thoroughly as it gives the overview of entire Xi...

    Regards..
