Hi experts!
When we create support message in satellite system and in solution manager types of fields “Long text” differ:
Satellite system
Solution Manager
In the program BCOS on the screen 0100 the field types are following:
Satellite system
Solution Manager
Is it possible to change the field type in satellite and make it similar to one in solution manager?

Iike I said there is a note with the minimum levels required of the satelite systems, please check SAP note 907768 first.

the other way around is to use sm_workcenter URL ....only pain here it doesn't captures the component.
But the advantage will be all the end user can post ticket and track via this url or workcenter or can build reports.

Hello,
Solution Manager Service Desk has a nice CRM interface, why use BCOS?
Also, the different Basis packages levels may be the cause for the difference in the display.
