Problems in creating Product Interchageability Groups

Hi All ,

I am getting below error while creating an product interchngeability group in APO SNP

" Internal number range not defined in group type 1"

This is strange as the number range  (internal and external) is already maintaied

Internal 1000000 to 1199999 Current NR status is 1000029

External 4000000 to 4099999

I have also refered the note 1057389, but it does not help

Can you please guide if I have missed any other setting or configurations

Hi  Mrigendra,

This could be due to shared memory problem.

Please go to transaction SHMM and refresh the shared memory of interchangeability invalidate area  /INCMD/CL_APPL_SM_AREA.

Hi,

Go in transaction /INCMD/GRPNR (or follow the below path) and assign the group type 1 i.e. supersession chain to the number range created by you. I hope as of now it is under not assigned category or it is assigned to the previous number range (SAP standard one): -

00000000000000000001 to 99999999999999999999

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA to ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
