Interface requested not found : csLIB

Since 3 days ago, my IDT worked fine. When I open the tool this morning after the weekend, I got this error message.

Interface requested not found : csLIB

I am not able to open or update any db connection. Please someone help me.

Well, when I could access to the server, I will try these solutions. Thanks for all, but already I don´t if these procedure will be the solution.

One question..

How can I need to restart your dashboard design and cache server aps?

I`m a developer beginner. Xcelsius is easy for creating new dashboard conneting to a database, but those speciafication about servers, services of java's updates are not obvious for me.

Remember us my problem; I had several dashboard that in a moment, didn`t run good (an ugly message). If I create a new dashboard witn a simple query, QaaWS display an error, but finally show the result. Two days ago, all dashboard were good, and there were no changes.

I could refresh each QaaWS in the design view. I have three dashboard. Two of them, when I refreshed, make good the navigation and the error window disspaear. But with the third dashboard, with more QaaWS, this is not enough.

Where must I modifying the cache or refreshing?

Ok my error was caused by another piece of software overwriting the value in the R_SHLIB_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable.

Steps to fix:

1.  Uninstall IDT

2.  Locate the R_SHLIB_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable under my computer properties.

3.  Set the path value to your SAP install directory such as C:\Program Files\SAP BusinessObjects\

4.  Re-install your client software

Note that if you don't change the variable before you try to install you will get a message explaining the issue.

I have the same error, it seems to be something related to a java update.

I have this error since today. What happen?

"Error de procesamiento de solicitud. (XLS 000009) [] <com.businessobjects.dsl.commons.exception.NestedException: Interface requested not found : RepositoryJob>"

This error appear in the dashboard of Xcelsius, but, second later, can make the query and fill the graphs and tables.

I have not modified anything since yesterday. And yesterday, and today morning, It was good.

Antonio, the XLS000009 error is a generic error.  In my experience it usually means that you need to restart your dashboard design and cache server aps.  Why?  You'll have to ask SAP.  It's like the magic un-plug and re-plug of your home router to fix internet issues.
