BEX Query Properties

Hello Experts,

I have 2 basic question let me know if you know this,

1. How to sort Key figure ascending or descending?

2. How to get the Overall result row for Hierarchy enabled characteristics to the bottom or right?

Please let me know.

Thank you

Arun

    Hi Arun,

For sorting the key figures in the query one way to do it is by creating a condition like KF < a very big number. Else of course you can do it in the workbook.

    Hope this helps...

    1. You could also use a Top/Bottom N condition with N as a very big number eg: 999999999

This will give you the KF you chose in the condition in ascending/Descending order..

    2. I don`t remember well..but you have a option in the properties tab where you can select the way the hierarchy results can be displayed..

    Ashish..

    Hi Bhanu & Asish,

Thanks thats what i thought. I am curious to know what does the Context menu for key figure sorting does in web template.

Do you guys know the Command URL to perform that function?

Also, is there any way to get the Overall result row for Hierarchy characteristics?

    Thank you

    Arun
