Dear Experts,
My Client wants to calculate Order Quantity based on consumption Value. He will set a Re order Point if stock falls below this reorder point, based on consumption and lead time system should calculate order quantity in PR. He will also set minimum and maximum stock levels, maximum order quantity in PR should exceed maximum stock level.
Example :
Material : ABC,
Re order point : 20
Minimum Stock level : 10
Maximum Stock level : 100
if stock falls below the re order point i.e 20, based on consumption and lead time it should calculate order quantity in PR, even through system calculates order quantity more than maximum stock level based on consumption values, it should propose only maximum stock level i.e. 100.
Please provide me any solution for above scenario.
Thanks

The problem is that in SAP re-order point planning the replenishment lead time is a critical part of calculating the reorder point. How is you client coming up with the reorder point if he isn't considering the replenishment lead time?
Generally reorder point = safety stock + (average daily requirement * replenishment lead time)
How much you order is either a fixed quantity or up to your maximum stock level. Neither of which are related to the replenishment lead time.
