FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1

Hi,

I am using theFunction module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 to send a XLS file as an attachment in mail. This is working for the SAP user name

(receiver-REC_TYPE = 'B') but not for internet address (receiver-REC_TYPE = 'U') . Is there any parameters I need to set to get this working?

Could tell us what parameters you are specifying. I am using the following and attachment goes without any problems.

lRecipients-Receiver = <theemailaddress>

lRecipients-Rec_Type = 'U'.

lRecipients-Com_Type = 'INT'.

lRecipients-Notif_Del = ' '.

lRecipients-Notif_nDel = ' '.

Append lRecipients.

I get the message but not the attachment

We are on 47. I don't see a radio button for 'ALL Formats'. and XLS is not maintained. How do I insert this?

Hi Ravi,

What do you mean by not working? Message is not sent at all? Is there an entry in the outbound queue (use transaction SCOT to find this out).

Hi Ravi,

Have you checked if your internet node is setup to process .XLS.

If you are on 46C or lower goto transaction SCOT .

Select the node just below "INT" ( double click on this node ).

In the next window -> Click "Set" next to Internet .

See if XLS is maintained here or "All Formats" radio button is checked.
