Customized Packing List - System copy is printed

We have customized the packing list (Crystal version) for the delivery document (we used the System CR Packing list form as the template). We have set the default to our new form. Now, when we print, B1 prints our new Packing List plus the System Packing List. There are no printing segs defined.

Can you tell me why the second copy is printing?

I also now get two copies if I use the system CR for for the packing list. I have checked the Report and Layout Manager and only 1 copy is selected.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Please check the "Administration-->System Initialization-->Print Preferences-->Per Document-->Delivery" and see how many copies are defined to be printed on Document add.

Also, check the same thing under Administration-->Setup-->General-->User Defaults-->Print-->delivery

There is no option for number of copies on "Administration-->System Initialization-->Print Preferences-->Per Document-->Delivery".

Under "Administration-->Setup-->General-->User Defaults-->Print-->delivery" copies are set to 1 in both the default series and manual series.

I have been able to duplicate this behavior on a completely different system in 9.0. For example, if I set the default form in the delivery window to "Packing List (EhP) (System)" and click on the print preview button, I get two copies that pop up, one for  "Packing List (EhP) (System)" and one for "A/R Packing (Items) (System)". I don't even see that report definition anywhere.

Where you have imported your layout ?

You have to import your layout to PKG1

I did not import any layout. I opened the "Packing List - CR (US) (System)" and saved as a new name.

Hi Alan Morris,

Please check Print preference settings (Admin---->System Initialization--->Print preference ) for delivery order. If you choose document and batch/serial, then system will display two layouts to print.

I tried that (chose only document) and no change. The second page is packaging information, there are no batch numbers or serial numbers.
