change database from one to another database in same system

Dear All ,

can any body tell me how can we change database from one to another database in same system.

example like- In my sap instance Maxdb is Installed but I want to change with oracle in same system , is it possible?

if is it possible then plz share procedure with me.....

You need to perform a Heterogeneous System Copy to change Database.

Read the documentation, additional to this if the system is a productive environment you'll required an OS/DB migration certified consultant to sign-off the migration otherwise it will not be supported.
