sapscript output program in background

Hi

I have to generate PDF output for a sapscript.  when i run the report program the PDF file is generated and sent to mail. but my requirement is to send in background.   in the custom function module im calling the subroutine to generate the PDF file.  the PDF file is generated but there is no data. but when i run the program online  with same subroutine the data is comming.

woudl you please help me . what im missing here?

Which FM your using to generate the PDF and please debubg you BG job used JDBG and check if the input to the FM which is generating the spool does contain data ?
