Ganesh....Thanks for your response...Yes currently it is after aggregation, as per your suggestionn if I change it to Before Aggregation..I believe it could affect query performance as calculations would be done before aggreagtion with too many records...
Do you have any idea regarding the rootcause of this issue
Hi
Have a look at Note 922727
The setting "Calculate before aggregation" is no longer necessary for calculated key figures. You can either replace the calculated key figure with a basic key figure with the relevant transformation (if the aggregation behavior is independent of the characteristic drill-down) or replace it with the new options for creating exception aggregations in the BI BEx Query Designer NW2004s (if the aggregation behavior depends on the characteristic drill-down).
The "After Aggregation" query behaves the exact same as what it used to do in BEx 3.5 with option "before Aggregation".
hope that clarifies
Martin
@ Martin...
The setting "Calculate before aggregation" is no longer necessary for calculated key figures.
Then if I change my current CKF from "Calculate After Aggregation" to "Calculate Before Aggregation" the query should work....I have only this option left for now
But note says we should not use "Calculate before aggregation"....So I am not much clear
