Syntax Error SAPMSSY30 after kernel upgrade to 7.40

Hi,

we have the following problem

Environment:

Windows Server 2008 R2

DB2

After upgrade the Kernel from  720_EXT_REL   ----> to 7.40  , we have this issue.

SAP ist starting normal after the upgrade.In MMC all WP are online and waiting . But when i want to logon to the system, i get the following error

"Synatx error in program SAPMSSY30"

any idea?

SAP ECC 6.0 EhP6 , SAP Basis 7.31

Hello,

EHP6 is not supported with 740 kernel. 720_EXT and 721_EXT kernels are supported with EHP6. Please check PAM.

If the basis release is lower than 7.40 the you should use kernel version 7.20 or 7.21
