Delta Error

Hi Gurus

I am loading the delta into the ods and the DS is 2lis_12_vchdr. The delta is failed but in request tab QM is in Green color without reporting icon.. when i wanted to repeat the delta again i am getting the following msg"<b>Last delta update is not yet completed,Therefore, no new delta update is possible.You can start the request again if the last delta request is red or green in the monitor (QM activity)"</b>. So in the Manage i turned the request from green to Red color and scheduled the delta again. i still the same error.

Note: Under the "Activate the data in the ods" the request is in green color, when i click on the start, i am getting the following msg " ODS object ZOVCHDR was built incorrectly. Cannot update request REQU_3ZDYZ3E7UNLZZYWADKJQBZGIS(1,152)". Can anyone tell me how to deal with this..unless i finish this i think i cannot fill up the setup tables.

I think you would get all the records(12/12) again. Try and let us know.

Hi Srikanth,

You can delete that request. Then do a "init load with no data transfer" and then repeat the delta load. I hope things would be fine.

Thanks for your quick reply. But one of our senior told me that its not adviceable to delete the delta request. Now as i am on dev server i can do it but when i am in production, how should i deal with this problem.

But as per ur suggestion if i do that will iget the delta records? why i am asking this is after i scheduled delta i got "12 From 12" but request failed in monitor. Now if i delte the request will i able to get those records>
