Reinitialisation of Delta (Material Master)

Dar Experts,

There are some inconsistencies in BW Material Master, due to which we are not able to see the descriptions of some of the materials. To overcome this, we had created a selective full update infopackage and load such master records.

Since its master data, I was thinking of deleting all master data and reinitialise the process once again. ( I have around 200K rows and dont find any difficulties )

I did the following steps. TCode RSA1

1. Infoprovider--> 0Material ---> (Right Click) Delete Data

2. Selected option Delete Data

3. InfoSources --> Material (Text) 0Material_Text --> Open IP (Initialise 0MATERIAL_TEXT) ... I have separate infopackage for Delta load.

From Scheduler Menu selected <i>Initialisation Options for Source System</i>

4. Highlighted the row and clicked on Continue Button.

Since I have deleted all the data, when I try to run Initialize ip, I am getting message "<i>Deltas already loaded for request</i>"

In the Update tab, <i>Initialse Delta Process</i> is selected. Now I am in a fix as I have deleted the details and am not in a position to load all the data. (The alternative I am having is to use Full Upload option, which I don't want to use)

Any suggestions are welcome

Warm Regards,

Vijay

    Hi,

    I think what you need to do is go to the option you mentioned in point 3. and delete the initialisation request.

    hope it helps.

    Cheers
