Hi All,
I have a question. Can SAP PI integrate with REST webservice.
I saw a few blogs mentioning that we can use Advantco Rest Adapter.
For 7.31 is this adapter readliy available or do we need to install it separately.
I presently dont have access to 7.31 so not sure whether this comes as a built in adapter or needs separate installation.
Also it will be helpful if there is a link on understanding and working of Rest Adapter.
Thank You

Hi Amit,
How many interfaces are you going to build? If this is only 1 interface then business may not agree to buy an Advantco adapter. Just contact the Advantco taem to find out about pricing details. If the business do not agree to buy one then you need to integrate the same using java mapping/adapter module.

Hi Amit,
SAP PI can deal with Rest webservices, perhaps without all Rest webservices functionality. Before to purchase a new product you can try with SOAP adapter with Axis protocol. There is a Michal Krawczy's blog about this, i cant write the link because the SCN dont let me write links. ??, Search this terms -> rest-axis Krawczyk blog

Hi All,
By the time of now there are two 3rd party adapters available, the one mentioned in the blog
and the kaTe RESTful adapter (also certified and a bit more complete in terms of "RESTful")
Simple GET calls should be possible with the standard HTTP adatper.
With best regards
Sebastian
