Installing BW JAVA system

We are installing Spend Performance Management 3.0 Part of the installation is to install a BW java system. What do I choose from the following:

Can you please advice what I need to choose from the above to install a BW Java system?

Hello,

If this portal is for BW only, then you should select Application Server Java, EPC, EP, BI Java, Adobe Document Services and NW-Model. Further refer to SAP KBA 1677378.

Thanks Sunny for your quick response! As per note 1677378, what components would I need to download and install for the "BI JAVA" system? It mentions Download BI-BASE-B and BI-BASE-E components

These components are in addition to usage type that I suggested earlier. In case these patches are not installed then you can download these patches as well.

Install the BI Java system with the BI Components mentioned in this SAP note

1677378  - Incomplete BW 7.30 installation

The BI Java component should bring in these components.

If it doesn't then you can update after the installation using SUM.

Hi Sunny,

We need to also install the web-dispatcher for the same SPM configuration. There is currently no web-dispatchers in the current landscape and this will be the first one in the landscape. I don't see any installation guides for the installation of web-dispatchers.

The business needs the following:

I need help with getting the Web Dispatcher virtual image requirements. 

1.       Assume we are using a Linux virtual image

2.       Need file system layout and SAN requirements

3.       Need OS user id requirements for installing/running the Web Dispatcher

I had a doubt whether we can have the webd on the same bi java box or if we need to have a separate box for it.

You should install web dispatcher on separate host because if you will expose your portal on internet then you need to have web dispatch in DMZ zone.
