Hi all,
I have two questions:
- Are there any API's delivered out of the box with regards to PCM. If so, where can I find them?
- Does PCM provide an SDK for application development?
I ask this because I don't want to access the MS SQL Server database directly, but use the PCM application layer instead.
Many thanks and kind regards,
Theo
Hi Theo,
What exactly would you like to do with the application layer?
1) PCM doesn't really provide an API, however you can use the PCM Console Wizard that allows you the execute some commands. I suppose you have already explored the delivered SQL stored procedures of PCM (Data Loader)?
2) No, PCM is based on a Delphi SDK.
Please explain your exact need.

For the 2nd query:
i don't think so, you can ask from the following spaces;
.NET SDK application development space: http://scn.sap.com/community/bi-platform/microsoft-net-sdk
or JAVA SDK application development space: http://scn.sap.com/community/bi-platform/java-sdk
also go through this helpful document: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-8777
