Hello everybody,

a fast question:

In my graphical message mapping i create a field with a concatenate (I have 2 target fields).

These fields have blank space inside and i need preserve it.

When i test mapping, everithing is fine, example the resul is:

0GT13314T     01 105

(long 21)

but when i check the xml file in directory, i find this value:

0GT13314T 01 105

(long 16)

seem the blank space disappear. Only one is preserved.

Any ideas?

thanks in advance

Alex

Hi Alex,

Are you sure they are gone? If you view the file in Internet Explorer, they may appear to be missing while they are still there. View the file in a text editor to be sure, or use the 'view source' option in internet explorer.

Kind regards,

Koen

Hi Alex,

Use the parameter below parameter to preserv the format

NameA.fieldContentFormatting

  • Enter trim to remove all the leading and subsequent
blanks for a value found. This is the default.
  • Specify nothing to ensure
    that the value remains unaltered.

hi!

but i'm not using file content conversion.

I write the file directly in xml.

@Coen: yes i'm sure. I download the xml file and check size with a text editor
