Issue in SLD registration- BO

Dear Experts,

We have tried to register the SLD from BO system SBOP BI Platform 4.0 SP04 to Solution manager 7.1 however we got the below error. we are unable to sync the SLD.

Have you created your 'connect.key' file and placed it under 'hostctrl\exe'?

Did you receive a successful connection message when you created the key file?

What is in the following file?

Yes, we got successful message when we created connect.key file.

there is no content in bobjslddsoutput.xml file. it is 0kb.

what could be the issue?

Wily is a metric collection tool not something you configure or point to your SLD; when you installed the SMD agent did you supply the information for your SLD?

Hi Nishtha,

We have not resolved the issue however I have recently worked in BO SLD registration. I have run AC tool which is fully automated and will not cause any issues. Please try to use AC tool to configure SLD for BO.

I looked in my SolMan's SLD and BO systems don't show up under the technical system; you may have to filter on the server log to verify the SLD side of things.

You may want to review the managed system item under solman_setup for technical system or your LMDB to find the BO system.

Hi Pradeep,

Follow the sapnote to register the BO

1018839 - Registering in the System Landscape Directory using sldreg

Then run this command ,  to push the data to SLD

saposcol -b |  sldreg -connectfile <Installtion Directory>:\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\global\slddest.cfg -stdin –oldtransferdtd

Use the below sapnote to analyze the sldreg issues

Hi,

Will the BO system be available in the SLD->Administration->Content maintenance->computer systems alone or it will be available in the technical systems as well.

In our case it is appearing fine with associations in the content maintenace but not in technical systems.

By the way am also working along with Pradeep so update the post regarding the update which we have.

However in the Sldreg log we got one entry as below. Will this have any issues?

Did you deploy the Tomcat SLD Datasupplier.

You can also you the automatic tool to configure the connection between BOBJ and Solman.

I am looking for the SAP note , am not getting it right now.

This note has contain all the required attachment.

1. AC Part is the Auto configure tool where you need to provide the input and it will configure everything for you.

2. Follow the steps 6.1

Also let me know whether you have deploy the TomcatSLDSupplier war file to Tomcat server.

Thanks. we have edited the sldparseconfig.properties file and excuted the runbobjsldds. we got the below error and unable to connect CMS.

Trying to connect to the "<HOST NAME>" cms.

Trying to get nodes.

Bobj-sld-ds was not able to retrieve any nodes from the CMS.

Failed to connect to any cms. Dying now...

Check OS is: windows server 2008 r2
