Dear All,

When i open HANA Studio and trying to expan Catalog, i get an error "Fetching Childeren" and canot expand Cataloge and work on HANA Studio.

When i expand fething childeren, i see this message “[-708] Connection T0 could not send data [Socket closed”

Another issue is that when i dont work for few mintues on HANA SQL Console, i get "Object is closed" or "Time Out" error. Than i need to open new console to run the query.

I am using HANA on AWS.

Best Regards,

Zaib

    Hi Zaib,

It is a known issue. Please refer to the thread with thread no 3402796 which has detailed discussion on Studio related issues. Some how I am getting an error while trying to post the link URL. Please search for "SAP HANA Studio Not responding" for details.

You may have to upgrade to the recent revision to have the issue sorted out.

    Regards,

    Ravi

    Dear All,

I have one more problem and i hope its last one:)

When i dont work on SQL Console for few mintues, i get below error. To run the same code, i need to open new SQL Console.

SAP DBTech JDBC: Object is closed: com.sap.db.jdbc.ConnectionSapDBFinalize@453c5385[ID 200668].

Could not execute 'SET SCHEMA ZIA_PAL'

    Regards,

I have followed the instructions referred to by Thomas and still have the issue. My SQL executes fine although I notice it says "rows affected: 0" which would indicate it did nothing.

The restart of my system does not prompt for a user or password but I assume it has cached that.

Finally I get a screen showing processes which indicates a statistics server is still running
