Hi,
I'm french and sorry for my accent.
In BO Infoview, I would like to schedule reports from data which's stored in database.
For example, in a datatable, I could find destination's users, subject, object, scheduling ... to create automatic mail with a BI report.
Is it possible to do this directly in BO InfoView or with BO? If yes, why?
Thanks a lot
Yannick
Hi,
Thanks a lot for your answers but you mistunderstood... or I didn't explain correctly.
I know how to schedule a report in XI 3.1 InfoView by BO tool.
But, I would like that BO schedules alone any reports with data that it finds in a database.
For example, I create a report.
I would like that BO looks for data, every day, in a datatable to know if it must create this report, who to send it by mail, which file to attach ....? Then, people (with email indicated in database) will receive automatically any monthly/weekly reports (frequency indicated in database too)
I hope you understand now...
Yannick

Have you got any chance to check this http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-20461

You don't mention any version, but you mention InfoView, so I'll assume you are using BOE 3.1. Is that correct?
First: create a report in any of the report creation tools that you have (webi/crystal) and make sure it contains the data you are looking for. Save the report in any of the Public Folders. next schedule the report. For detailed info on that process, have a look at http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/boexir31/en/xi3-1_bip_user_en.pdf from page 69 ("Scheduling Objects") onwards.
Hope that helps.
