HWC on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 problem

Hi to all,

I have downloaded Sybase Hybrid Web Container 2.3.3.6954 from Google Play on tablet Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 running on Android 4.1.2 and when I enter all that is needed in settings, Save button is still disabled so I can't set up HWC. Did anybody had similar problem or know solution for this?

Here is the screenshot from tablet:

Diskette is grey, disabled.

Enter the farm id as "0" and check. Not sure whether the app developers made the farm id mandatory.

If possible please share the settings screenshot. And also please try to test in emulator as in this link to dig the issue. http://developer.samsung.com/android/tools-sdks/Samsung-GALAXY-Tab-Emulator .     Let me check with with any of my friends to test a sample app on this device.

I am assuming that you are talking about the missing menu icon itself in the tab to see the pop up that brings the save, restart engine, show logs etc. You can report it to SAP if it is a bug.

Have you tried older versions of app (sybase mobile workflow 2.1), how they are managing it ?

I have menu icon and can see Save, Show log, Restart engine ... but Save icon (diskette) is disabled, I click on it and nothing happens and Show log is always empty.

Ok, I can save settings in Mobile Workflow 2.1. Still our Unwired server is expired, waiting for licence, so I can't test any further. Does Mobile Workflow have the same functionality as HWC?

Yes, it has the same functionality. It is the older version of the HWC.

Can you try to change settings like Re-enter values agian and then click on menu, Save gets enabled.

I can't save them at all, but I tried different combinations and reentering. It's just disabled/grey all the time..

i doubt it since this device is not mentioned in tested device list.

As a matter of fact it is mentioned

It is the last model in the list, only this one is from mobile provider and comes with upgraded Android, from 4.0.4 to 4.1.2.
