Steps for active BW standard content and load with data for IDES

Please share  steps for Activating BW Standard all contents and load with data for IDES Server.

Hi Ali,

Steps are common for any version of bw server.

do the below steps.

1. First find the standard data source form business content at ECC Tx - RSA5.

2. Once you find related data source then activate it at Tx - RSA5

3. Do the maintenance as you need at RSA6, for LO Data sources you can do RSA6 or LBWE also.

4. you can check extractor function at RSA3, whether its pulls data or not.

5. For LO Data sources we need do delete and fill the setup tables before executing TX - RSA3.

6. Replicate your data source into be side.

7. Activate your data source at bw side.

8. if you standard info cube then activate it form BW business content.

9. do the same for transformations/info pack and dtp.

10 once you design whole flow, start loading data into bw.

11. first trigger info pack and later dtp.

Even if you search google also you will find lot useful stuff.
