    Ravi,

You mean that you want to change it from full to delta?.

In this case directly you can change it to delta...by delta init method.

    Hi,

For the standard Business Content you are in fact dependent on SAP development. When the DataSource is not delta enabled in most cases there is a good reason for that. Just try to focus on the large masterdata loads that need to be run daily and/or have long runtimes. A full load of 10.000 recs. masterdata should run in less than few minutes. The effort needed to modify or rebuild the datasource in delta with the risk of a failing delta mechanism is much greater than the small load on the system.

A "dummy" delta mechanism that works fine for several scenario's is to choose a creation/change date field for selection. Did that for 0equipment at a customer with 8.000.000 equipments masterdata. I ran 2 loads every night all equipments created in the past week (safety delta) and all equipments changed last week. Time selection automatic by OLAP variable

    Kind regards, Patrick Rieken

    HI Ravi

This is chaitanya, For master data DS it is not recomended to have Delta mechanism due to large data loads whcih will be a hinderence to the performance of the system.

If you still want a delta to be enabled for that create a generic datasource(along with a generic database tables) for the same and with that you can have delta.

Otherwise you can use a ODS in the data flow using which you can have the delta mechanism(as the ods has the new, active 1 and active 2 tables only the new or updated data is loaded).

One more possibility is to change the date in the selection creiteria of the infopackage so that the data in the given dates is only pumped which is same as delta.

Analyze the possibilities and use the appropriate one suited for your business scenario
