Exchange Rate in Journal Entry

Dear Gurus,

I am now working to deploy the SAP B1 to my client which is a trading company.

They would like to input the exchange rate in JE for buying foreign currency and mark as record.

However, they will input the currency table at the beginning of the month, so in JE it will calculate the Debit FC to Debit (LC) automatically. It is not wise to update the table daily as they take the average for sales and purchasing activities.

Do you guys have any idea to deal with my problems?

Hi,

Check the Indexes tab under the Exchange Rate & Indexes window in the Administration Module.

Here you can define the Exchange Rate for the complete month at the beginning which would be used in the JE.

Check if it works.
