Hi Friends,
I have a samll query in TM. Two employees of my client are having same working hours a week & same week days. I have configured 1 work schedule rule for one employee. I want to use the same work scheule rule to the other employee also. Can I use that for the other person? After that I have to move the configuration from dev system to quality system. Can I do that with out any doubt?
Thanks In advance....
Regards,
Sreekanth
Hi Sreekanth,
Once that config data is moved from Dev to Quality you can use but, For another employee you need to maintain IT 0007.

Hi,
Please check the two employees Start time & End time in a day. Then whether break schedule is same for the available employees.
Also you need to check working week for the employee i.e., Monday to Friday (or) Monday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday etc.
In all the above situations if employee has the same time then you can go with one work schedule rule. If not you have to create separately.

Reddy

Workschedule depends on Periodic Workschedule. It will not have any role on employees during generation of work schedule .No matter how many shifts and breaks you define and assign to Daily Workschedule. It depends on periodic workschedule. Workschedule is configured based on shifts defined in periodic workschedule. If you have configured one rule Please check for other employees Do they have same periodic workschedule. You can use same rule for all employee if all employees are falling under same periodic workschedule For example. Alll employees are having same shift Example: General Shift So in that case 1 Workschedule can be defined.
Before Moving to Quality I suggest you to check with Client How many shifts they would like to define . If they have one shift So you can go ahead and move to quality.
An example for better understanding: A company is having three different shifts: Morning, Noon and Night So In that case you have to define three periodic workschedules and assign to three workschedules.
Whenever you define Work schedule Remember Shifts As workschedules are defined to identify number of working hours in daily workschedule and shifts that are defined and assigned in periodic workschedule.

Rajesh

Hi,
Yes,its no problem if they are of same work schedule and be careful to maintain groupings like table V_001P_D,V_001P_N,V_001P_I,V_001P_H or V_503_ALL.
Pick the same configuration and follow the path henceforth.
Hope all is well.

Pradip

Hi Sreekanth,
Yes, You can use the same work schedule for other employee as well if they are following the same pattern.
