Hi all,
I'm installing ECC 6.0 Ehp6 on AIX 5.3, and received the following error report:
An error occurred while processing option SAP Business Suite 7i 2011 > Enhancement Package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 > SAP Application Server ABAP > Oracle > Central System > Central System( Last error reported by the step: Installation of SAP host agent using command /tmp/sapinst_instdir/BS2011/ERP606/AS-ABAP/ORA/CENTRAL/hostagent/saphostexec -install -user sapadm failed with return value 255. Output was: exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program saphostexec because of the following errors: 0509-130 Symbol resolution failed for saphostexec because: 0509-136 Symbol __run_final_dtors (number 221) is not exported from dependent module /usr/lib/libc.a[shr_64.o]. 0509-136 Symbol __run_initial_ctors (number 222) is not exported from dependent module /usr/lib/libc.a[shr_64.o]. 0509-136 Symbol __pthread (number 258) is not exported from dependent module /usr/lib/libpthreads.a[shr_xpg5_64.o]. 0509-192 Examine .loader section symbols with the 'dump -Tv' command.
Any one can help me?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your reply, the problem is I installed the 720 EXT kernel, which is not compatible with AIX 5.3, and when I replace it with the 720 kernel, the error no longer appear.

The probably looks more likely with the AIX C++ run-time libraries.
You must be having the outdated C Compiler installed on the system.
Try updating that and see if that helps.
