Can anyone please help me with the below requirement I came across
The orders currenty have license blocks (License determination happens in GTS) until license determination that will happen frome external system. The requirement is to find if thee is any configuration in GTS so that the blocks will be automatically removed after 90 days. The old license determination blocks need to be removed by a program that could be run once a week that would close them automatically if they were over 90 days old
iI NEED HELP IN FINDING IF WE CAN CONTORL THIS BY ANY CONFIGURATION IN GTS
-I appreciate your help with this urgent request
Hi Suresh,
There is no such functionality - sorry. Did you ask the reason for that requirement?

Dave

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the reply.
Requirement is to see if License Determination blocks can be archived after a certain period. Reason for this requirement : Since quotes expire after 30 days (possibly 90 for Export), archiving the license blocks will remove them from the compliance team workfow view. Can this be done by configuration? Is a program required? (Something that would be run once a week to 'close' the unneeded determinations?)
Hi Suresh,
I configured the scenario in a test system, and tried it out. Everything worked fine. My Sales Document was blocked due to Licence requirements, and the block was cleared when I assigned a Reason for Rejection and saved the document. At that point, the entry in the GTS "Blocked Documents" list also disappeared.
If required, you could perhaps get a program written to reject any un-actioned quotations when they expire.
There is no justifiable logic in why the compliance blocks should be removed after a certain time period - if that were possible, all users could escape checks and responsibility simply by waiting.
It sounds like your bosses or clients don't trust you. Perhaps you should invite them to study the on-line documentation and find anything that they think could undermine what you're telling them?
By the way, if you do think my responses have been helpful, I think there's a button you can click on .
Regards,
Dave
Hi Suresh,
Yes it is possible. Basically Archivability check program in GTS excutes a RFC FM to decide archiving of a customs document.
Archivability check doesn't verify the blocks/licenses assigned or not assigned in GTS. It just checks the completeness of the R/3 documents.
So, it is possible to archive those old quotations which were blocked in GTS. But you don't need them to be showing up in worklist(provided the R/3 docu. is complete in aspects).
There are some standard set of criterias(last change date less than 90days etc.). I have already debugged the FM.
In case you need more details, please raise a separate thread/discussion
Thanks
