Where is iView "Isolation Method"?

Hi Portal Knowledgeable ones.

I am on EP6 SP13.

According to help.sap.com, an iView property called "Isolation Method" exists. However, I see no property called "Isolation Method" in edit mode for the iView. I even looked through all the iView property values in "Show All" mode. None prompt for "URL" or "Embedded" either.

What happened to this parameter?

Hi,

I am not having SP13 but in SP12 i can see it in between the properties

Invisible in navigation Area

Last Date Changed.

From the iview right click and open object and then property category "Show all".

Thanks for the reply. I don't have a property showing between "Invisible in Nav area" and "Last Date Changed".

I see now that "Isolation Method" displays for only certain types of iViews. Don't know why this is. My iView is a "URL" type.

I was going to try to toggle this property to see if I could affect a caching change for the iView. I'll look elsewhere.

I believe the reason you don't see it on a URL iView is because you cannot select any other Isolation Method than URL on a URL iView.
