Hi Gurus,
I have scheduled a program to run every morning. Now I want to unschedule it, ie I do not want the program's job to run every morning. It is a little strange but I do not see anywhere , that I can remove this from schedule.
Can anyone advise me on how to stop this program?
Thanks,
Reddy
Hi Reddy,
Goto SM37 and find the job that gets scheduled everyday. It would be in the released state. Select and delete the job. Now the program would not get scheduled.
You can always recreate the job if you want to.

Hi Reddy,
if you want to manage your jobs easier, you might want to use the new Job Scheduling capabilities of SAP NetWeaver. It has a very intuitive front-end that let's you manage all you jobs. You can find more information on SAP Service Marketplace under quick-link Job-scheduling.

Hi Reddy,
GOTO SM37 select the job which you want to unschedule and then click on delete.
or Select your job name and in top menu under job--->click on delete.
it works.

Reddy, in SM37 you can also change the job from "Released" to "Scheduled". This will leave the job out there but it will not execute. If you decide to run it again at a later time, you do not have to recreate it, just change the start condition and release the job.
