What course should I take ?

Former Member

My company wants to send the 'sap team' to take some courses regarding diferent modules of SAP .

We have a 4.6C version. I am an abap developer with almost 2 years experience. So, my question is : if I had to choose one course to follow, which one would be the best ? I am thinking maybe about BC490 - Performance Tunning, or anything else more advanced. I know the eficiency of this 'learning solution' but this is the 'company strategy'. What is your opinion ?

Thanks!

Did you take BC401(ABAP Objects) yet? Are you using ABAP objects? If not, I would recommend going to this class.

I agree with Rich - BC401 sounds good. It would give you an idea of the OOPS principles in ABAP.

Since you already have 2 yrs experience in ABAP, you should be able to read up and understand BC490 on your own.

I have knowlegde of OOP because before abap I was working on some projects in java and c++, and I worked with it also in SAP in all kind of programs with alv, badi, etc. I also have a version of BC401 and I saw what kind of information it can offer. Thanks for your replies.

Hello Valentin,

Can you share BC401 documentation.

I just want to learn it. I have only 8 month experience as ABAP programmer.

I will be very thankful, if you can share this.
