By-Product Costing

Dear All,

We have a manufacturing process where in during production of material X we get by-product Y. By-Product Y is than used in Z.

My client wants to have costing for the by-product Y in such a way that Cost of By-Product Y = (0.90 * Cost of Product X). If 90% is not possible than Cost of By-Product Y = Cost of X.

I want to know if this can be done in any way.
