Conversion lock on info object

Hi All,

I was trying to Edit 0costcentere Infoobject and tried to make one of the display attributes to Nav attribute.

When tried to activate it, it gave activation errors, i tried to undo the changes but it started giving message Conversion lock.

Please help unable to edit the Infoobject at all!!!

Hi Jatin,

Please follow below steps :

1) Go to RSD1 -> 0COSTCENTER -> goto EXTRA -> Click on (Remove conversion Lock)

This will remove the lock

2) Go and undo the changes & activate the InfoObject
  
3) The activation error usually comes if the display attribute have some Junk values.
   Please change the 0Costcenter transformation first to rectify the error
   mostly it is because of Lower case values.
   Write a code to traslate it to Uppercase.

4) Activate transformation, load master data for 0Costcenter
5) now make the Display attribute to Navigational attribute, it will allow you to activate the object with new changes.
