Technical Monitoring - Template - Sybase Databae

Hi experts,

in technical monitoring I have in template of Sybase the metric Free Space <SID>. I think this is the available of the SID-Instance.

My question is, there is no alert-value behind. It is only for information. Is  this, because every customer has to define their own alert-values or why is it on information-only?

So it helps to also review the collection methods so you know what TechMon is going collect:

Above is what SAP templates are set to collect, SAP doesn't allow changes to be made to the default templates so the only option is to copy the template and then configure the options you want/need for your environment.  Looking at the threshold tab I see that this is a Info Only type, and I don't have experience with Sybase monitoring; however you can change the threshold to have a Green/Yellow/Red set of values to trigger an alert or some other action.
