Variant Configuration issue

Hello SAP GURU,

The issue issue details like that as per VC standard process,

1) The user product is configuration material (ZMAT).

2) The user has created  the universal BOM for the Finished product ( say-XXX) with the assembly ( say-YYY) & with assembly component ( say-ZZZ)

3) Class with characteristics & dependency assign to the configuraation profile.

4) Assign object dependencies to BOM components.

In the  sales order component ZZZ is required 4PC as expected  but while creating the prodoction order is is showing 1 PC.

Now business want 4 PC of component ZZZ in production order as well.

Where is the link missing between sales order qualitity & production quantity. Both should be equal.

Requesly to all help to me...

Thanks in advance.

Hi Vijay,

Share the details like how the production order is created i.e. manually or by converting planned order. Also check the quantity of sales order in Stock/Requirements list for the material.

Another point if the order is created manually, check if fixed lot size with 1 quantity is maintained in material master.

Check these field for both uses in BOM.

In general tab also.

Check the Unit also.

Thanks
