ecc5 migration to HANA

Dear Expert,

We are planning to migrate our ecc5.0 system to HANA .
Please let me know the excutation path for doing this activities.

Present system configuration

ECC5.0 SP17
DB : DB6 08.02.0002
OS: SunOS

we want it to move to hana database with ecc6 ehp6.

I have seen sap note

1875197 - Using DMO of SUM for SAP Business Suite systems

but as per this note it is mention that

Start release:
¡ SAP ERP 6.0 or higher (e.g. EHP1, EHP2, EHP3)
¡ systems as part of SAP Business Suite 7 or higher
(SAP ERP 6.0 EHP4, SAP CRM 7.0, SAP SRM 7.0)
¡ SAP SCM is not yet supported

could you please provide info using sap note / guide .

Hello,

Since you are on ECC 5.0,so, you cannot use DMO for this migration. Also, DMO is not released for all customers, you have to register as pilot customer to get access to it.

You can first upgrade your ECC 5.0 system to latest release and then you can do the migration to HANA. You can refer to below guide and link for more information:

Also, if you are on non-unicode system then DMO cannot be used as DMO is not released to combine upgrade, unicode conversion and HANA migration. Then you need to first perform CUUC and after that you can do HANA migration or you can perform upgrade to latest release and combine unicode conversion with HANA migration.
