Present system configuration

we want it to move to hana database with ecc6 ehp6.

I have seen sap note

¡ SAP SCM is not yet supported

    Hello,

Since you are on ECC 5.0,so, you cannot use DMO for this migration. Also, DMO is not released for all customers, you have to register as pilot customer to get access to it.

You can first upgrade your ECC 5.0 system to latest release and then you can do the migration to HANA. You can refer to below guide and link for more information:

    http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-47657

    http://scn.sap.com/community/netweaver-bw-hana/blog/2013/08/29/sap-bw-powered-by-sap-hana-some-points-to-remember-for-database-migration-to-hana

Also, if you are on non-unicode system then DMO cannot be used as DMO is not released to combine upgrade, unicode conversion and HANA migration. Then you need to first perform CUUC and after that you can do HANA migration or you can perform upgrade to latest release and combine unicode conversion with HANA migration.

    Thanks,

    Sunny
