How to increase time for Query execution timeout

Hi Experts,

When executing a heavy query a timeout can occur. How can this timeout be increased?

We usually get this timeout when executing a long running query on the web. I realize that this might be related to setting in Web Application Server and not BW specific, sorry if posting in the wrong thread in that case.

In transaction SMICM you can try to increase the Maximum Processing Time (seconds) for HTTP service. What is the current setting in your system?

How can I assign you points? I have marked the topic as a question, but I don't see the buttons for assigning points. I will assign you points as soon as I'm able to do it.

The SDN systems are being upgraded and so several people are facing the points assiging issue. May be you can try again after some time.
