Error message: "An error occured while creating the original attribute for PDF"

Hi, gurus!

I am new to DMS and I am having difficulties when attaching the document .pdf in the system.

In my test, I'm using as a local file repository my computer in the paste X (local C: \ X).

Following the customizing document attached.

Steps

1. Kindly check the configuration done in OAC0 and OACT.

2. Check the configuration setting for Pdf application in DC30.

It should be like this.

Also have you done configuration in OACT?

I'm doing a test trying to file the document on my own machine (notebook).

I do not know what I'm doing wrong.

Dear Sérgio,

  I think you are not using the content repository correctly. When you define it as logical repository System will try to find the repository with name specified.  Do you really have any repository with name C:\X_300 in your system ?

If you are trying to learn DMS then easy way is use DMS_C1_ST, because that does not need an content server installation.

I'm trying to set up to store data inside the server sap, but I really don't know how to do that. I am using Kpro, but i don't have sure if is correct.

I set up the transaction DC10, OAC0 and OACT. I don't know if I have to set up the transaction DC20. Could you help me one more time?

I dont know about DMS with local repository in OAc0 . But these are the basic configuration setting for storing documents in to DMS. please define and check  with datacarrier type  for front end computers in dc20  , document satus in dc10 and define worlk application in dc30.

Pleae post how you are uploading documents into DMS server and your business senario.

Ok... Let me know operating system and database details. Meanwhile check for server manager services, IIS  webservices should be running for default browser.
