Insert and preserve data in embedded spreadsheet (Xcelsius 2008)

Hi everyone,

I face a problem. When I use Xcelsius component for inserting valuse (for example spinner), I can just change values in dashboard, but when I refresh internet browser, spinner values are set to default.

Is there any way how change default values? Notice - It is for dashboard in SOLMAN 7.1 SP08, there is NO PORTAL SERVER! SOLMAN support only Xcelsius 2008.

Hi Jan

When you refresh the browser it basically re-loads the dashboard and hence everything is reset to default as designed. The only two you could change the behavior is:

1) Add a Local scneario button and save the options you would want to load next time.

2) Use any writeback feature to save the current selection and write a logic to load that from a database/

Hi Jan,

Once you refresh the browser the dashboard is bound to show the values from the "start" of the dashboard.

Retaining values in the spinner after refreshing, is difficult, but you can try the Xcelsius's built in "reset" button component. I am not very sure it would work.

Otherwise there are third party tools available which support export functionality . They are available for trials as well.
