Workflow - Multiple mail recipients in sendmail task

Hello,

I have following WF problem :

I have assigned a multiline container element to the e-mail recipient, but only one mail is sent (to the first address in the element). I'm using e-mail address as recipient type. Does anyone have an idea why this is ?

kind regards

Pieter

    Ramki,

I'm on the same version. Funny thing is that if I create a dummy workflow which gets the emailaddresses exactly the same way (they're attributes of a business object) everything works and multiple mails are sent. Even funnier thing is that multiple lines work, but apparently the system just deletes the second one. It's driving me nuts 😉

      Ramki,

The issue is solved. The lines where deleted in the WF container due to an error in the attribute code.

The code was called two times, the first time it gave a different result than the second time due to the fact that an attribute from the object was read usig swc_get_property self ... . Apparently the attribute was emty when called from the sendmail item.

Thanks for the help. I'll assign points for that.

    Pieter,

Check your bindings. If you are sending to external email address, Your multiline container element should bind to the &AddressStrings& element in the task container. Also define your multiline container element of type SOXNA-FULLNAME.

Please post any future Workflow related questions in the Business process management (BPM) forum, the new home for Workflow.

    Cheers,

    Ramki Maley.

Make sure the export parameter is also checked of the multiline container element.

    Hello Ramki,

    thanks for the reply.

The bindings are correct. I just use the one defaulted by SAP, which binds my element to the &addressstrings&. I've changed the type of my element, but I still have the same result : 2 addresses in my element, only one in the &addressstrings&. I've also tried to use other binding types (eg. append to table), without result.

    kind regards

    Pieter
